Since 2016, Black River Systems has been the lead developer of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Ninja C-sUAS family of products that detects and defeats small UAS. We worked directly with AFRL and federal government stakeholders to mature the original Ninja system from concept to Initial Operational Capability (IOC) in just 8 months, and deployed the improved Ninja Gen2 system just 10 months after this. The Joint C-UAS Office (JCO) selected Ninja as one of three fixed-site systems for future procurement and deployment, and today Ninja has been selected as the Air Force C-sUAS Program of Record. The Ninja Team continues to manufacture, test, deploy, evaluate performance, and train operators to maintain and support an innovative family of Ninja C-UAS products. Today, this capability is actively protecting DoD installations with over 565 Ninja systems fielded at 190 unique locations worldwide. Ninja is currently in use by numerous government organizations, and we continue to evolve our Ninja systems with the addition of Machine Learning algorithms to provide cutting-edge C-sUAS systems.
