Black River has a long history in researching and developing techniques for multisensor data association and correlation, for multi-target tracking in the presence of false and ghosted detections, and the fusion of data from a variety of dissimilar sensors.

Our tracking algorithms employ state-of-the-art filtering techniques for target localization and data association while managing high track-to-measurement complexity. Our solutions are real-time and practical; they incorporate sensor bias estimation, disparate sensor modalities, and asynchronous measurement timing. Our solutions have been applied to ground vehicles, aircraft (ranging in size from small UAS to fighters, to widebody planes), surface ships, and advanced hypersonic missiles.

While our trackers consume a variety of sensor data (infrared, electro-optic, radar, electronic warfare, signals intelligence, acoustic, hyperspectral, and threat warning), our Baseline Road Assisted Tracker (BRAT) suite of tools is our most highly utilized multi-target, multisensor tracking solution. Hundreds of analysts and operators use the BRAT daily to process Ground Moving Target Indication (GMTI) radar data from hundreds of platforms.
